As a large agricultural country, China produces a large amount of soybean oil, which guarantees the feedstock for ESO production. However, as Chinese ESO industry starts relatively late, there is still obvious gap between China and foreign countries in terms of production capacity and quality. Though the number of ESO producers in China increased substantially, few producers’ production capacity exceed 10,000t/a, and high-quality ESO consumption still relies on imports.

ESO is in line with Chinese industrial development policy, and it can meet various regulations on food safety and environmental protection both in China and abroad.
