Chinese government allocates subsidy of USD79.2
million for crop disaster assistance
Due to the
increased number of disease outbreaks, insect pests destructions in crops and
drought in Southern China, Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of
China allocated USD79.2 million (RMB500 million) as special subsidy for the
control of diseases and insect pests in corn and rice and to assist in
re-planting of crops.

continue to increase in July
China's
insecticides import and export volume continue to increase in July 2013, with
986 tonnes and 21,077 tonnes, up by 80.41% and 33.10% year on year
respectively.

claiming that it launched the new brand image of Gaucho®. The new brand image
shows us that the cartoon promoter is holding crops and raising his thumb.
Furthermore, it has its implied meaning that farmers can get a better yield.

On 12 July 2013,
Chinese Ministry of Agriculture announced that Guangxi Tianyuan's pesticides
development and application technology laboratory upgraded to key laboratory of
Chinese Ministry of Agriculture.
Situation of Mythimna separata in Northeast China
to worsen
According to the
forecast of pests from NATESC, the pests of the third generation Mythimna
separata already broke out in Northeast China and will be worse in August 2013.
Jiangsu Province issues subsidy list for biological
pesticide in 2013
A new biological
pesticide list (2013) with provincial financial subsidy was issued by the
Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Agriculture on June 27, which is an
encouragement for biological pesticide industry.
Registrations of thiamethoxam formulations soar in
China
By 16 July 2013,
209 companies had filed 448 registration applications of thiamethoxam
formulations in China, according to the data from ICAMA.
Registrations for thiamethoxam TC and indoxacarb TC
increase sharply in June and July
There were 19
insecticide TC registrations in China in June and July, including 5 for
thiamethoxam and 5 for indoxacarb.

Dow
AgroSciences launched seven products in China in July, including two
sulfoxaflor-based insecticides.
