China's wet-process phosphoric purification facility, 2012

In China, few companies are capable of realizing the mass production of wet-process phosphoric acid purification. Nonetheless, there're still a lot of Chinese companies with great interest in promoting the technology of wet-process phosphoric acid purification due to its cost advantages.
 
Take the wet-process phosphoric acid produced by Wengfu Group for example, its technical-grade acid and food-grade acid were sold USD48/t less and USD79/t respectively less compared with those acid with the same quality produced by other producers in the same region.
 
At present, other three wet-process phosphoric acid purification facilities are under construction in China, together amounting to a capacity of 300,000t/a . It's estimated that these new additions of capacity would be put into operation within two years. By then, these cheaper wet-process phosphoric acid commodities would get at least 15% shares of China's phosphoric acid market which was originally taken by thermal-process phosphoric acid.

Wengfu (Group) Co., Ltd. (Wengfu Group), the leading producer of wet-process phosphoric acid in China, has expanded its production capacity of wet-process phosphoric acid to 350,000t/a by the end of 2012.
 
On Dec. 15th, 2012, Wengfu-Dazhou Chemical Co., Ltd. (Wengfu-Dazhou Chemical) announced that it has succeeded in the commissioning for its third wet-process phosphoric acid purification facility (capacity: 150,000t/a).
 
Wengfu-Dazhou Chemical, a subsidiary of Wengfu Group, is responsible for Wengfu Group's production operation in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. With the addition of this purification facility, Wengfu Group is to have strong competitiveness in China's phosphoric acid market.
