In the first ten months of 2013, the total export volume of azoxystrobin
technical and formulations in China witnessed a year-on-year increase of 379%
to about 1,436 tonnes, according to China Customs and CCM.

According to data from the ICAMA, Rudong Zhongyi has obtained a
registration of cyproconazole TC in late 2013, becoming the fifth domestic
company to obtain a cyproconazole TC registration.
All streptomycin registrations in China to expire in 2016
All streptomycin registrations in China will expire in 2016, according
to data from the ICAMA, providing enterprises with opportunities to develop new
kinds of pesticides to replace streptomycin.
ABACHEM acquires 63.5% shareholding in Jiannong Plant Protection
On Dec. 31, 2013, ABACHEM announced that it had signed an agreement with
Jiannong Agrochemical about share acquisition and capital increase. After the
acquisition, Jiannong Agrochemical's wholly-owned subsidiary Jiannong Plant
Protection will become a holding subsidiary of ABACHEM.

Sale and use of asomate and urbacide to be banned from Dec. 31,
2015
On Dec. 9, 2013, the MOA issued public announcement No. 2032, taking
further measures to limit or ban the use of seven pesticides, including bans of
asomate and urbacide from Dec. 31, 2013.
Fourteen pesticides allowed to register for ginseng
On Nov. 29,
2013, the national review meeting of pesticides registered for ginseng was held
by the ICAMA in Beijing. Fourteen pesticides, including fludioxonil,
cyprodinil, difenoconazole, mancozeb, etc., were approved to be registered for
ginseng in the meeting.
