In the first seven
months of 2013, China's export volume of fluazifop-p-butyl technical was 13.15
tonnes, a sharp year-on-year decline of 80.94%. However, China's export volume

Export volume of China's atrazine soars 27.31% YoY,
Jan.-July 2013
During Jan.-July
2013, China's total export volume of atrazine technical and formulations
increased by 27.31% year-on-year. The export volume of atrazine technical
reached 17,423 tonnes with a sharp increase of 37.51% year-on-year, while the
export volume of atrazine formulations rose to 15,748 tonnes, up 17.65%
year-on-year.

In the first ten
months of 2013, China's price of fomesafen displayed an upward trend and it is
expected to maintain a slight increase in the next few months.
Proper disposal of pesticide waste
Pesticide waste is
generated when pesticide is stored in inventories, in transport, when it is
sold and during its usage. Pesticide waste causes serious damage to the
environment. The increasing pesticide waste has caused the relevant
authorities' to devote attention towards the proper disposal of pesticide
waste.
Zhejiang Xinnong to build 1,500t/a pendimethalin
production line
Zhejiang Xinnong
plans to set up a 1,500t/a pendimethalin production line in Yangkou Chemical
Park. Zhejiang Xinnong's production capacity of pendimethalin is expected to be
2,500t/a following the completion of this project.
Anhui Fengle first to obtain propyzamide 80% WG
registration in China
On Oct. 10, 2013,
Anhui Fengle obtained the approval for the temporary registration certification
for propyzamide 80% WG from the ICAMA. In addition, Anhui Fengle is the first
domestic company to obtain the registration of propyzamide WG in China.
Noposion retains the first among China Top 30
Pesticide Formulation Manufacturers, 2013
On Oct. 16, 2013,
the list of the China Top 30 Pesticide Formulation Manufacturers of 2013 was
released by the CCPIA. Noposion retains its first place ranking on the list,
with its revenue from pesticides reaching USD259.38 million in 2012.
Paraquat shortage drives its price up continuously,
as of mid Oct. 2013
As of Oct. 16,
2013, the paraquat price is maintaining an upward trend due to the tight
supply. Most domestic paraquat TK manufacturers have indicated that they are
mainly completing existing orders and that they are temporarily not accepting
new orders.
Triflusulfuron-methyl
registered by domestic company for the first time in China
On
Sept. 25, 2013, Jiangsu Agrochem Laboratory obtained two registration
certifications for 95% triflusulfuron-methyl TC and 50% triflusulfuron-methyl
WG in China, according to the ICAMA. The company is the first domestic
enterprise approved to register triflusulfuron-methyl in China.
